Baby blanket

In addition to playing with paper, I also like to play with fabric. I love to quilt, but I'll be the first to admit that I'm not very good! Still, it's something I enjoy. I prefer to make baby or lap quilts, like this one:

This is the baby quilt I made for my little niece for Christmas. I used minkee, flannel, and flannel-backed satin to give it a silky soft feel good quality. And of course, pink, brown and cream were the perfect colors for a little princess! I regret that I can offer no more pictures, as it is now in possession of said princess who lives across the country, haha.

I have 2 quilting projects this year and hope to start on them soon. One of them is a Christmas quilt using something you'll all be familiar with: the Figgy Pudding line by Basic Grey! (compliments of Moda)

But back to papercrafts...

Everyone said such nice things about my recipe tin yesterday that I've decided to give one away!! But not yet... I just had a giveaway, so we have to wait a little while. ;) I think I'll do it when I hit 25 followers... so be watching!

How darling! I love the polka dot print. I can't wait to see your BG quilt! I really want a bag and some curtains made with Sultry. :)

ps...I have my layout done, but I can't figure out how to get good pics of it. It's a 2 page layout, so I'm still working on it...

This is adorable! Love the little monkeys and leopard print fabrics. I wish I could reach out and feel how soft it is too. :)
