Weekly Scrapbook Challenge #18

This week my challenge for you is an inspiration challenge. But not just any challenge... it's a personal one. I want you to go through your own creations (cards, layouts, altered items, etc.) and find one you love and use it as inspiration.

I went through my creations and found this layout I made last year:

I really liked the placement of the photo and journaling strips with that long strip of patterned paper to anchor them to the page. So I used the same concept on my sample this week:

Paper: Fancy Pants Designs (background), October Afternoon (textbook paper); Stamps: Stampin' Up! ("genuine article"), Unity (bracket); Clips: Stampin' Up!; Brads: American Crafts; Tag: office supply; Font: SP You've Got Mail.

I'd love to see what you can create this week! Link it up here, and be sure to include a photo of what inspired you.

Today is my hubby's birthday so we're going out tonight to see Ironman 2. He loves all those superhero movies, and the first one was pretty good so I hope it's worth the arm and a leg it costs these days to go to the theatre, lol. Have a great day!

You have such great ideas for your scrapbooking challenges. I love how you used dark paper for the background with a night time photo. :)

cool challenge!
I was wondering for your next challenge, if you'd like me to use it as one of the challenges on my Online Crop and spread the word about your weekly challenges. I'd have people link up to your site too.
Or maybe you'd want to give out a prize too for it.
Or if not, maybe you'd like to join my Online Crop, starts today and ends Tuesday night.
